03-08 ISSUE SAME:
1st we did noticed that there was no 24v going to coil. contact was not kicking in KA029 but it was caused by conditions we created during testing.
2nd applied external 24v power supply to coil. No change
3rd we found another coil and block upstairs. tested it offline and that one was working correctly.
4th replaced coil and block and that worked. .
Parts that we used at first, we thought they were good but found out they are not. ( block ) Good lesson to not assume that all parts are good.
follow up:
1st rotating slow down position. when rotating sometimes the top unit over shoots its location causing misalignment.

drive motor on inside shuttle broke off. three bolts snapped off, and the forth one broke an ear off the backside of the motor. |
removed the broken bolts and found that the two front bolts have to be short to get in the hole, the two rear bolts i was able to put a longer bolt into it to get more of a bite in the threads. area tech needs to follow up, and order another motor for back up, are to replace motor with broken ear |

noticed power supply only had both bottom lights on, change 2 out still had same issue
finally got a power supply from Paul cabinet and worked |

had to find new sensor and replaced
check positioning to make sure i had right distance
tested on cantilever 14 it hit bracket on cantilever 13 so had to adjust bracket

When got here found Crane 4 no power checked brush wires looked good then I looked down buss bar and found wires that come into buss bar were sticking out. Then checked wire and found it had been cut by brushes guide plate I taped the wire and ty-rapped them back together as straight as possible then I cut the brush guide bracket about 1" that way it would not interfere with wires. Also the cover for bussbar is broken .
Follow up needed: find a solution to keep wires from moving into brush guide pathway replace, buss bar wire and replace buss bar cover |

crane 2 going into z drive fault. crane was jerking or bouncing as it was traveling up or down. it was intermittent so hard to find. |
issue was intermittent. as crane was moving up or down (they noticed when cane was a half position more) the crane would jerk or bounce as it was moving. this issue started during the weekend, and they noticed it maybe once or twice a day. After looking at the up down guide bearings I noticed that the west side south top bearing was dragging into the rail so much that it created a pit in the rail. once the guys removed the bearing, they noticed that the center roller bearing that rides on the rail had locked up. this way the crane was jerking or bouncing and why it didn't happen all the time.
follow up: replace west side south rail. |

case #938 line 14, safety barrier alarm was preventing the shuttle from functioning in auto. not sure if it is north or south shuttle. any questions contact Eric he was the one that called in. |

Service Summary – Bumper Safety Barrier Alarm Issue Machine was triggering a bumper safety barrier alarm on every mission, preventing operation in auto mode. Initial inspection suggested a possible short in the bumper barrier wire, though no visible breaks or damage were found. Added slack to the wire connected to the bumper barrier to relieve tension and potential internal strain. Cleaned and wiped down the safety barrier sensors to ensure proper detection. After these adjustments, the machine was able to run missions in auto mode. Noted that the bumper appears slightly damaged |
